• Stow plans 100-plus AMP events, 10 concerts in first season (cleveland.com) — Stow is moving ahead with The AMP amphitheater on Norton Road, planning more than 100 events a year and at least 10 ticketed concerts in summer 2027. Backed by $4.53 million in construction and technology contracts tied to a prior cell-tower deal, the city aims to host national acts, free community programs, and enrichment events at a venue holding over 2,000 guests.
   

• OHSAA releases third football computer ratings (limaohio.com) — Stow-Munroe Falls is currently 13th in Division I, Region 1 in the latest OHSAA football computer rankings, leaving the Bulldogs just outside the 12-team playoff cutoff. The statewide list shows where Stow stacks up against powerhouses like Lakewood St. Edward and Mentor, giving local fans a clear picture of how much work remains before the October 25 final rankings.
   

• Summit Emergency Communications Center named Ohio Dispatch Center of Year (akron.com) — Stow residents benefit from an award-winning 911 dispatch center, as the Summit Emergency Communications Center serving Stow and neighboring communities was named Ohio's 2025 Gold Star Dispatch Center of the Year. County officials say the honor recognizes dispatchers' skill, compassion, and teamwork in handling emergencies across Summit County.
