Senior Captain Brandon Nixon's 75 put him in a tie for sixth overall and Senior Ryan Foster's 78 rounded out the Bulldog scoring, the coach said.

This is the first sectional tournament title for Stow since 1990 and the first ever for the long-time head coach.

"I am just so proud of the way the kids persevered in some pretty bad conditions," said Miller. "It would have been very easy to loose your composure, but our kids remained poised and got the job done."

Because the team won the tournament, they advance to the Pine Hills District Golf Tournament.
