• Stolen vehicle hits Strongsville police cruiser, uninvolved driver then utility pole: Authorities (cleveland.com) — A police pursuit involving a stolen car in Strongsville ended Tuesday morning when the driver hit a Strongsville cruiser, another vehicle, and then a utility pole near Pearl Road, rolling the car. The 60-year-old driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to face charges, while the uninvolved driver escaped injury.
   

• Remembering 9/11: Memorial events happening in Northeast Ohio this week (fox8.com) — Strongsville residents can join a 9/11 memorial ceremony on the Commons this Friday, with the Strongsville Community Band starting at 6:15 p.m. and a program featuring a bell tolling, flyover, rifle salute, wreath laying, and bagpipes. The piece also highlights similar remembrance events planned across Northeast Ohio to mark the 25th anniversary of the attacks.
