Open House At Strongsville High School On Saturday
Attendees can see the refurbished auditorium, the new gymnasium and cafeteria areas, the renovated classrooms, and more.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — The renovated Strongsville High School is holding an open house on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Attendees can also stay after the tour and watch "Fame: The Musical!" as it's put on by Strongsville High School students.
The high school has seen several improvements over the past few years that may interest residents and parents. The auditorium has been refurbished, the gymnasium is brand new, as are the cafeteria areas, the Media Center has been renovated, and classrooms have been upgraded.
The high school is continuing to improve its facilities. In mid-April 2017, Strongsville City Schools received a $20,000 donation from the GDP Groups Employees' Foundation. That grant will be used to create a MakerSpace at Strongsville High School. A MakerSpace includes project-based learning labs, innovative spaces, and areas focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM).

If you'd like to take the tour and then stay for the musical, tickets are $18 for adults and $10 for students. The show will start at 7:30 p.m. The musical does include mature themes and has been given the equivalent of a PG-13 rating.
