Officers busy with suspicious door, dog owner and hungry possum: Strongsville Police Blotter (cleveland.com) — Strongsville police recently handled a string of minor but memorable calls, from a supposedly suspicious warehouse door on Foltz Parkway that turned out to be an employee, to a neighbor's concern over an open car door on Silver Maple Court. Officers also responded to an aggressive dog owner at a Royalton Road park and safely relocated a possum from a Westwood Drive trash can.
   

2. Strongsville voters to consider fire levy increase aimed at boosting staffing, response times (cleveland.com) — Strongsville residents will soon decide Issue 103, a proposed 1‑mill continuing property tax levy to fund 12 new firefighter‑paramedics and staff a new fire station at Royalton and Pearl. The measure would raise about $2.3 million annually, costing owners of a $100,000 home roughly $35 per year to support fire and EMS operations citywide.
   

3. OHSAA football computer ratings: Danville, Centerburg and Fredericktown in top 12 (yourohionews.com) — Strongsville's football team is currently 10th in Division I, Region 1 computer ratings with a 4–3 record, keeping the Mustangs in the playoff hunt. The statewide OHSAA report shows how Strongsville stacks up against powers like St. Edward, Mentor, and Hudson, and what it may take to secure a postseason spot as final rankings approach.
   

4. Cheapest gas stations in Cleveland (whio.com) — If you're filling up in or near Strongsville, this roundup of Cleveland's cheapest gas shows Costco on Royalton Road offering one of the lowest prices at $3.42 per gallon.
