Robbery Suspects Hit Police Cars During Car Chase In Strongsville

The Jared Jewelry store on Royalton Road was again targeted by would-be robbers. The suspects eluded police during a car chase.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — Police are searching for four suspects that attempted to rob Jared Jewelers on Royalton Road on Tuesday. This is the second time in less than a month the business has been targeted.

At about 7:20 p.m. on Jan. 16 police were called to Jared's for an attempted robbery. Police were told that two men had run into the store's vestibule area and attempted to get into the store. The doors leading into the store were locked, keeping the suspects out, witnesses said.

Blocked from getting inside the store, the suspects ran off, dropping something in their hurry to get out. The suspects then ran back to the vestibule to pick up the item and then ran off again. Video surveillance from the store shows four black male suspects.
