• Major visit coming this summer (news-gazette.com) — A standout Sunbury basketball player, Sydney Mobley of Big Walnut, is drawing national attention as a four-star recruit with Illinois, Ohio State, and Virginia Tech in her final three. The junior averaged over 20 points last season and has already topped 1,500 career points. Her decision could spotlight Sunbury and Big Walnut on the women’s college basketball map. 
• County road projects underway (delgazette.com) — Road work around Sunbury will ramp up this summer, including major improvements at the Lewis Center Road and state Route 3 intersection just south of town and spot repairs on Sunbury Road. Delaware County crews are also adding roundabouts, replacing bridges, and upgrading sidewalks and trails in nearby townships. Expect temporary closures and detours but smoother, safer travel by fall.
• Exactly how much your central Ohio city has grown since 2020 (nbc4i.com) — Sunbury is one of central Ohio’s fastest-growing communities, adding more than 25% more residents between 2020 and 2025.
