• Elmwood can clinch third-straight BVC title Monday (sent-trib.com) — Elmwood’s softball team, which recently dropped a 16-9 non-league game to Swanton, can still clinch a share of its third straight Blanchard Valley Conference title with a win over McComb. Despite losing star pitcher Addison Hoffman to injury and facing a brutal schedule, the Royals are 18-6 and eyeing a deep Division V tournament run starting Wednesday.
