• Trustee honors Superintendent (sylvaniaadvantage.com) — Sylvania Township leaders recently honored retiring Sylvania Schools Superintendent Dr. Veronica Motley with an engraved award, recognizing her long service to local students and families. At the June 29 board meeting, Trustee Chair Jill Johnson praised Motley’s integrity, compassion, and impact on the community, saying Sylvania is stronger because of her leadership and wishing her well in retirement. 
• WGTE Public Media chooses new president and CEO (sylvaniaadvantage.com) — A Sylvania resident and former Sylvania Schools superintendent, Dr. Adam Fineske, has been chosen as the next president and CEO of WGTE Public Media, starting August 1. With deep roots in local education and nearly two decades in Sylvania Schools, he says he’s eager to keep serving northwest Ohio communities through public media.
