Here are the top stories today in Toledo:
- Toledo Police have made an arrest after a home in South Toledo was shot at for the fifth time in the last week. 22-year-old Jamal Fox was arrested on Wednesday after an officer saw him fire multiple rounds at a home in the 1000 block of Rockcress Drive. (WTOL)
- The FBI is searching for 2 suspects in a Toledo bank robbery that occurred Wednesday at Directions Credit Union on S. Hawley Street. The suspects were masked and left the scene in a black Dodge minivan. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the tip line. (13abc Action News)
- The Lucas County Commissioners announced on Wednesday that a new commission will be formed to review the City of Maumee's practice of dumping sewage into the Maumee River for decades. Since the revelation that Maumee was dumping excessive sewage into the river, Ohio Rep. Jon Cross has proposed a new bill in the Ohio General Assembly that would ban cities and towns from such dumping, though it has not yet been adopted. (13abc Action News)
- Toledo man Timothy Printke was sentenced Tuesday to 9 years in prison for kidnapping and assaulting the mother of his children in May 2021. Printke tortured the woman in his basement, beating and burning her. He pleaded guilty to felonious assault and abduction earlier this month. (WTOL)
- The manager of a local Spirit Halloween store on Monroe Street is confident recent supply chain issues won't inhibit patrons' ability to find all their costume needs. Americans are expected to spend $2 billion more on Halloween this year than in 2020. (WNWO NBC 24)

- The Rossford School Board voted Wednesday to continue its mask requirement for all students and staff. The school board voted to follow the suggested guidelines put forth by the Ohio Department of Health. (WTOL)
- The new class of ambassadors for the Engage Toledo program has graduated. The group serves the City of Toledo and its citizens with everything from neighborhood blight to struggles with paying bills. (13abc Action News)
- The owner of Greenbelt Place Apartments, Rene Campos, met with Toledo Mayor Kapszukiewicz and other city leaders on Wednesday at One Government Center in Downtown Toledo. Attorneys for Campos stated the plan was to repair the conditions after the apartment complex failed its HUD inspection, scoring 36/100. (13abc Action News)
- The site of the old NorthTowne Square Mall in North Toledo has been purchased by Kansas-City based NorthPoint Development for a planned 60-acre industrial park. The project was announced by Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz on Thursday and it's estimated the site will create at least 500 new jobs. (WTOL)
