Here are the top stories in Toledo today:
- Representatives from the Toledo-Lucas County Library have confirmed that its computers were hit by a cyber attack. The library first disclosed the attack on Monday through social media pages and is working with forensic security experts to investigate the matter. (13abc Action News)
- 41-year-old James Porter has been arrested and charged with assault after Toledo Fire & Rescue responded to a safety check near Central Avenue and Isabella Street on Monday. Authorities were called after it was reported Porter was running around naked in the road. Porter is said to have climbed on to the firetruck and pulled a firefighter out by her hair. (WNWO NBC 24)
- Authorities are investigating after a car crashed into a residential home on Schreier Road in Rossford Monday night. The driver of the vehicle lost control before crashing and was taken to the hospital. The homeowner was present but not injured. (WTOL)
- Lemondre Lofton has been found guilty of two felony charges related to a bar shooting at Unique's Lounge on Dorr Street that occurred in March 2021. Lofton was accused of firing into the bar after a verbal dispute, injuring one person. He will be sentenced December 15. (13abc Action News)
- The City of Maumee is setting up a special commission to investigate the unpermitted dumping of sewage into the Maumee River. The Maumee River Commission will work closely with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency to make sure the city is compliant with its sanitary sewer overflow. (WTOL)
