Plans moving forward for new library branch in Whitehouse, but not in original spot (wtol.com) — A new Toledo Lucas County Public Library branch is moving closer to reality in nearby Whitehouse, though it will be built near the Route 64 roundabout instead of the originally envisioned Blue Creek Metropark site. Budget cuts and state funding changes forced the shift, but leaders say the walkable, bikeable branch will still expand services for western Lucas County residents, including many Toledo-area families.
