Here are the top five stories in Toledo today:
- 36-year-old Jacob Cisneros has accepted a plea deal for the deaths of his two infant children on Tuesday in the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas. Cisneros will be sentenced on two counts of complicity to involuntary manslaughter, tampering with evidence, and obstruction of justice on February 16. His wife, Jenna Cisneros, was previously sentenced to 25 years in prison on involuntary manslaughter charges. (WTOL)
- Toledo boxer Robert Easter Jr. was shot several times during a robbery in Cincinnati on Sunday. Several pieces of jewelry and a cell phone were taken from Easter during the incident. (13abc Action News)
- On Monday the Sylvania City Council met to review an application for a medical marijuana dispensary proposed to open on West Alexis Road. Property owner Michael Howard is campaigning for the authorization, stating that medical marijuana will be good for the residents and the economy of the city. (13abc Action News)
- A Toledo family has won a trip to this year's Super Bowl courtesy of radio station 92.5. DeAnna Seger called in to the Mojo in the Morning radio show and won the Road to the Big Game contest one morning before going in to her job at Lourdes University. (WNWO NBC 24)
- Jeep is hiring for several positions at its Toledo Assembly Complex and holding a job fair Friday, February 11 at Owens Community College's Heritage Hall. Jobs available include hourly production operators for the Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator, as well as salaried positions. (WTOL)

- The University of Toledo is recruiting for its University Conduct Board, Sexual Misconduct Board, and Title IX Board. The boards are made of up students, faculty, and staff and training will begin on campus in the Spring and Fall of 2022. The deadline to apply is February 28. (Press Release Desk)
- Saturday, February 12 will be the annual Sibs Saturday hosted at the University of Toledo. The event will take place at the Student Recreation Center and showcases campus life at UToledo. (Press Release Desk)
- Nature's Nursery animal rescue in Whitehouse has been caring for an unusually high number of animals for this time of year. A large number of bats have been brought in as they are unable to return to hibernation if disrupted. Bats are integral to the local environment as they help with farming by eating insects, but are endangered due to disease and habitat loss. (13abc Action News)
- Lourdes University is accepting donations for its Have a Heart Restock Drive, collecting personal care items to benefit local pantries including Bethany House, Helping Hands of St. Louis, Our Lady of Lourdes Outreach Soup Kitchen, Sylvania Area Family Services, and US Together. Donation boxes can be found at Sylvania Schools and Lourdes' Franciscan Center. (WNWO NBC 24)
- On Monday, Value City Furniture announced the opening of a second location at Spring Meadows. At over 91,000 square feet, the shop will be the company's largest. (WTOL)
