Here are the top five stories today in Toledo:
- Four robberies involving pizza delivery drivers have occurred in Toledo since last Wednesday. Virginia Osburn was delivering for Bambino's when assailants put a gun to her head on Sunday evening. Erin Kramer reported her son, a University of Toledo student, was delivering for Campus Pollyeyes on Sunday when he was forced to go to an ATM and withdraw all the money in his account. - A year has passed since the City of Maumee changed the traffic pattern on Conant Street through the Uptown business section. City Administrator Patrick Burtch has defended the changes, which are meant to make pedestrians feel more comfortable traversing the area. (WTOL)
- Dashcam footage of a Toledo Police cruiser using a controversial move to ram a suspect's car on I-475 last September has been released. The maneuver, known as a "P.I.T.," is prohibited in the TPD pursuit policy. 41-year-old Shane Worthington had led officers on a slow-speed chase while throwing baggies out of the car window before entering the highway driving in the wrong direction at the ProMedica Parkway entrance. (13abc Action News)
- Last Friday the body of 25-year-old Xiao Lu, who went missing on December 28, was found in Monroe County just north of Toledo. Lu was a member of the Army Reserves and worked for the United States Postal Office on South St. Clair Street. (WTOL)
