- Khalid Denton, 29, has died following a car crash at the intersection of Collingwood Boulevard and Islington Street in the Old West End around 1:30 PM Monday.
- A water main break in North Toledo flooded the area of Galena Street around 8 AM Monday.
- Waterville City Council approved the controversial amphitheater project on Monday night in a four-to-two vote.

Here are the top five stories in Toledo today:
- Khalid Denton, 29, has died following a car crash at the intersection of Collingwood Boulevard and Islington Street in the Old West End around 1:30 PM Monday. Denton and his passenger were struck by an unknown male who ran a red light before abandoning the vehicle with another man. (WTOL)
- A water main break in North Toledo flooded the area of Galena Street around 8 AM Monday. Repairs are ongoing and the flood affected 1,700 Toledoans in a 10 by 10 block area. (WNWO)
- A three-vehicle crash at Detroit Avenue and East Alexis Road resulted in lane closures in West Toledo early Monday. No information regarding the crash has been released by Toledo Police at this time. (WTOL)
- Waterville City Council approved the controversial amphitheater project on Monday night in a four to two vote. The mayor and another council member opposed the plan, which will feature a maximum 9,375 capacity, box suites, a general admission lawn and on-site parking. (WTVG)
- Brendon Claypool, 30, of Arcadia was arrested Sunday after leading a police chase through Findlay. Claypool reportedly then attempted to flee on foot before reaching in his waist band and getting brought down by a K-9 unit. (WTVG)
