Here are the top five stories in Toledo today:
- 57-year-old Toledoan David Michael DeJonghe was killed in a motorcycle crash on US-24 in Providence Township on Monday. Ohio State Highway Patrol state DeJonghe was wearing a helmet when he crossed the median on the highway and was ejected after the motorcycle overturned on the westbound lane. (13abc Action News)
- Several coaches for the Whitmer High School Boys Basketball team helped save a driver trapped in his truck after a crash on Secor and Summerfield. The team had a game with Bedford High School that day and the coaches were at Sidelines Italian celebrating their victory when the crash occurred. (13abc Action News)
- The Wood County Sheriff's office reported a 16-year-old missing since February 19 was found safe on Tuesday. (WTOL)
- The City of Toledo had crews out filling potholes ahead of a potential snowstorm due later this week. 12 crews were out repairing the roads on Tuesday and residents can contact Engage Toledo to report potholes. (WNWO NBC 24)
- A driver has been hospitalized after crashing her car into two parked vehicles on Crittenden Avenue on Monday night. The driver was trapped in the vehicle until she was able to be rescued by emergency crews. (WTOL)

- An international academic collaboration between the University of Toledo and Queen's University found that current water quality guidelines don't sufficiently prevent significant damage to the region's lakes. - Bryan B. Blair, formerly of Washington State University, has been named the new Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics and Director of Athletics for the University of Toledo.
