• City says Trotwood Mayor recovering after May medical emergency (dayton247now.com) — Trotwood Mayor Yvette Page is recovering and making progress after a May 22 medical emergency that occurred while she spoke to a senior group at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. City officials say she remains under medical care, and her family thanks Trotwood residents and first responders for their support as she continues her recovery.
   

• Trotwood-Madison City Schools launches SUN Meals program to address food insecurity (whio.com) — Families in Trotwood can pick up free weekly SUN Meals from Trotwood-Madison City Schools this summer, starting with a grab-and-go event Wednesday at Madison Park Elementary. Each child will receive five breakfasts and five lunches weekly, with quantities adjusted based on demand through July to better serve underserved neighborhoods.
   

• Movie in the Park — Hoppers (trotwood.org) — Trotwood’s Parks & Recreation Department is hosting an outdoor Movie in the Park featuring Disney and Pixar’s new film “Hoppers,” and residents are invited to bring chairs, blankets, and bug spray. Trotwood Boy Scouts Troop 44 will sell concessions to raise funds, making this a relaxed way to support local youth while kicking off summer under the stars.
