• Man Charged for Girlfriend's Shooting in New Philadelphia Makes First Court Appearance (wjer.com) — A man accused of shooting his girlfriend in New Philadelphia is being held in the Tuscarawas County Jail on a $500,000 bond after his first municipal court appearance. Police say he surrendered at a Karen Drive home following an attempted arrest that drew special response teams from Tuscarawas and Coshocton counties. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday morning.
