• Our Lady of Fatima shrine set for completion in August (hometownstations.com) — An Urbana-based sculptor helped create the new 20-foot statue of Mary for the rebuilt Our Lady of Fatima shrine at Indian Lake, set to reopen in mid-August. The project restores a beloved regional landmark destroyed by a 2024 tornado and adds new features like a rosary walk, butterfly sidewalks, and children’s statues. Public dedication events are planned with shuttle service from a nearby church.
