• ‘You will become an icon of Christ the Servant,' Bishop Woost tells new transitional deacons (dioceseofcleveland.org) — Valley City’s St. Martin of Tours Parish will soon welcome newly ordained transitional deacon Sean Homcy, who will serve there for the next year as he continues toward possible priesthood. He and two classmates were ordained April 18 at Cleveland’s Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, where Bishop Michael Woost urged them to embrace their new roles as servants to the Church community.
