Feel Good Friday's Kicks off this week with Ladies of the 80's (mercercountyoutlook.net) — Van Wert residents can kick off summer this Friday, June 5, at 7:30 p.m. with a free Feel Good Fridays concert in Fountain Park featuring Ladies of the ’80s. QTS behind Van Wert, Ohio, 'mega site' acquisition, announces $10 billion data center campus (datacenterdynamics.com) — Van Wert is set to host a massive QTS data center campus that promises $10 billion in investment, hundreds of permanent jobs, and major tax revenue for the city. Residents are invited to a June 11 Q&A at Vantage Career Center, where officials will discuss infrastructure upgrades, sustainability plans, and a new community betterment fund focused on local priorities.

Churches teaming up to offer GriefShare « The VW independent (thevwindependent.com) — Residents coping with loss can join a seven-week GriefShare support group hosted jointly by First United Methodist and Trinity Friends churches in Van Wert, meeting Wednesday evenings June 10 through July 22. Sessions at First UMC’s Scheidt Room include expert-led videos, group sharing, and optional $20 workbooks with scholarships available, offering structured help and hope close to home.

These Ohio courts are giving veterans newfound hope, and they're only expanding (cleveland.com) — Veterans in Van Wert now have access to a specialized “CAMO Court” in Van Wert Municipal Court, designed to help military offenders get back on track through treatment and mentoring. The program is part of a growing network of veterans treatment courts across Ohio, pairing participants with veteran mentors, regular drug testing, and support for housing and jobs instead of traditional sentencing.
