• GM brings back some workers at Ohio battery site but restart uncertain (detroitnews.com) — Workers at the Ultium Cells battery plant in Warren face continued uncertainty as GM and LG Energy Solution bring back only a small group later this month, with no firm date to restart full production. Around 850 employees remain sidelined while the company waits for stronger electric vehicle demand, leaving many Warren-area families watching the EV market closely. 
• Brookfield's offensive explosion sinks Rams (wkbn.com) — A big third inning powered Brookfield’s softball team past Mineral Ridge, 14-9, in Mineral Ridge, setting up the Lady Warriors for a sectional final matchup with Columbia. Mineral Ridge will try to bounce back quickly as they get ready to host Warren JFK, giving Warren fans another chance to see local postseason-caliber softball nearby.
