• Hydrogen Scare As Roof Fire Chases Workers From Westerville Plant (hoodline.com) — Firefighters in Westerville quickly contained a weekend roof fire at a Maxtown Road manufacturing plant while closely monitoring a nearby hydrogen tank as a potential hazard. Westerville units, assisted by Genoa Township crews, traced the blaze to a rooftop exhaust, evacuated workers, and secured the scene after ensuring the compressed-gas risk was mitigated and the building was safely ventilated.

(dispatch.com) — Westerville residents may notice Walmart’s growing support for local nonprofits like Westerville Area Resource Ministry as part of a major statewide store upgrade push. The company is remodeling 18 Ohio locations in 2026, adding expanded healthy food options, upgraded pharmacies, and new services while continuing its Fight Hunger, Spark Change campaign to aid nearby food banks.
