Nursing home employee accused of stealing more than $2K from 86-year-old resident (azfamily.com) — Westlake police say a nursing home aide is accused of withdrawing $2,500 from an 86‑year‑old woman's account using ATMs at a Citizens Bank in Westlake. The victim's sister reported suspicious activity, and with help from The Inn at Joshua Tree and the bank, officers identified and arrested 37‑year‑old Daisy Torres on felony theft and credit card misuse charges.
