3. Officers free fox tangled in soccer net (wgem.com) — A red fox got itself tangled in a soccer net in Westlake, but local police carefully cut it free and watched it sprint away unharmed. The Westlake Police Department shared video of the Saturday rescue, showing officers patiently working around the nervous animal until it could safely return to the wild.
