Break-Ins At 2 Westlake Restaurants
The Time Warp Bar and Sweet Basil Pizza had glass doors smashed before someone stole cash and property from the businesses.

WESTLAKE, OH — Two Westlake businesses were broken into last week, police said. Both companies had glass doors smashed and an undisclosed amount of cash taken.
The two businesses that were broken into were the The Time Warp Bar, at the corner of Canterbury and Center Ridge roads, and the neighboring Sweet Basil Pizza. Both businesses had glass doors that were smashed overnight. The break-ins were discovered early on August 27.
An undisclosed amount of cash and property were taken from Time Warp. Police said a small amount of cash was grabbed from Sweet Basil.

Detectives believe the two break-ins are related. Surveillance video footage will be obtained by investigators and reviewed, along with other evidence, police said.
In April 2018, there were break-ins at two restaurants in Crocker Park. Pizza by Robert had a glass door smashed, and Zoup! had its back door pried open.
