WESTLAKE, OH — The Community West Foundation announced its latest round of grant funding on Monday.
The Community West Foundation provides financial support for organizations helping western Cuyahoga County residents find food, shelter, clothes and medical care. The Westlake-based organization approved $564,000 in grants to nonprofit agencies.
“As the pandemic continues, so does the increased need for community non-profits to be providing services that fulfill basic needs,” said Peter Schindler, senior program officer at Community West Foundation. “Many of our grantees this quarter provide housing and access to food which, unfortunately, are in high demand right now due to unemployment struggles people are facing.”
