• Northeast Ohio storms bring downed trees, water rescue, lingering flood damage (cleveland19.com) — A massive tree crashed onto a home on Harmony Lane in Willoughby after Thursday’s storms, while nearby Willoughby Hills continues repairing serious flood damage at its fire station from earlier summer storms. Fire officials describe ongoing building repairs, temporary sleeping quarters, and plans for engineering fixes, and urge residents to clear gutters and storm drains and closely monitor severe weather.
