• Amazon seeks to join federal lawsuit over Wilmington data center (wnewsj.com) — A major legal fight over Amazon’s proposed data center in Wilmington has escalated, with the company now asking to join a federal lawsuit challenging the city’s zoning decisions. Residents suing the city say their due process rights were violated, while Amazon argues delays could jeopardize key approvals and infrastructure agreements. A crucial injunction hearing is set for June 16 in Cincinnati.
   

• JD, Legion lead return of Clinton County K-9 program (wnewsj.com) — Wilmington residents are seeing the Clinton County Sheriff’s K-9 program return after more than a decade, with new dogs JD and Legion now certified and ready to serve. A Sporting Clays Classic at Cherrybend Pheasant Farm raised $18,000 to help launch and sustain the unit, and ongoing donations will support equipment, operations, and future K-9s.
   

• Hard cider trail debuts in Ohio (delgazette.com) — Ohio’s new Hard Cider Trail includes TinCap Hard Cider and Taproom right on West Sugartree Street in Wilmington, giving locals a hometown stop on this statewide passport adventure. Now through December 1, 2026, adults can collect stamps at participating cideries for raffle entries and a commemorative bottle-opener coin while celebrating Ohio’s cider-making history.
