• Clinton County second-half real estate tax bills mailed; due July 31 (wnewsj.com) — Clinton County’s second-half 2025 real estate tax bills are hitting mailboxes now, with payments due by July 31 for Wilmington-area property owners. Residents can pay online, by phone, mail, or at First State Bank on Rombach Avenue, but must meet the postmark deadline to avoid penalties and contact county offices with billing or valuation questions.

• Clinton County Port Authority names Jerry O'Brien as finance director (wnewsj.com) — Wilmington’s Clinton County Port Authority has hired Jerry O’Brien as its new finance director, bringing experience from the Ohio Auditor’s office and the City of Piqua. The board also approved routine financial items and a new lease at Wilmington Air Park, and set its next public meeting for 9 a.m. Aug. 13 in the Air Park boardroom.

• Federal hearing ends in AWS data center lawsuit (wnewsj.com) — A federal judge in Cincinnati has wrapped up a three-day hearing over Wilmington’s zoning changes for a proposed Amazon Web Services data center on Cosler Farm. Parties say a developing agreement could pause city action on the site plan and force reconsideration of three key ordinances while still allowing an informational Planning Commission meeting with public input.
