YMCA of Wayne County plans new Wooster branch (yourohionews.com) — Wooster residents can look forward to a new YMCA branch planned beside the Alice Noble Ice Arena on Wooster City Schools’ Oldman Road campus, with no tax dollars used. The facility aims to give students a walkable after-school option and expand health, recreation, and community programs, funded through a capital campaign and private philanthropy. 
2. Wooster City Council approves B & B Theatres liquor permit, South Market Street TIF (yourohionews.com) — Wooster City Council has approved a South Market Street tax increment financing district and backed a liquor permit for the incoming B & B Theatres on Burbank Road, decisions that affect schools, redevelopment, and entertainment options. America 250-Ohio spotlights state parks, outdoor adventures in June (cleveland.com) — Wooster is one of the overnight stops on the Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure, a June 20–27 cycling tour celebrating America 250-Ohio along U.S. Route 250. Riders will visit several Ohio communities while the broader semiquincentennial program highlights parks, water trails, and free movie nights across the state.

Robin Sueann Canterbury, Wooster, Ohio (wkbn.com) — Wooster is mourning the passing of 51-year-old Robin Sueann Canterbury, remembered for her sharp wit, warmth, and deep love for her large family. Born in Massillon and a longtime Ohioan, she cherished fishing, camping, and simple time together, leaving her children and thirteen grandchildren with many joyful stories and shared laughter.
