People to People focuses on unmet needs (yourohionews.com) — A longtime Wooster resident is now leading People to People Ministries, which offers emergency help with food, clothing, housing costs and other needs for Wayne County neighbors. The group is gearing up for its Back to School clothing project and ongoing holiday efforts, and they’re asking Wooster residents for volunteers, clothing and food donations, and financial support to keep families stable.

Wayne County Sheriff and Officer Stabbed in Suspiciouis Person Incident (sciotopost.com) — Two Wayne County law officers are recovering at home in Wooster after being stabbed while responding to a suspicious person call, having first been treated at Wooster Community Hospital. The suspect is in custody and charges are pending, while investigators continue to look into what led to the attack. Local officials are thanking residents for their strong show of support.
