• Joya's cafe in Worthington approved for significant expansion (nbc4i.com) — Joya's Cafe in Old Worthington has been approved for a major expansion, adding about 60 indoor seats, a bar, and a new kitchen while aiming to stay open during construction. The popular Bengali-American spot plans to extend hours to include dinner five nights a week, with updated patio space and an accessible entrance, though the expanded opening isn't expected until around 2027.
   

• Worthington Kilbourne's Kaelyn Perry voted Girls Athlete of the Week presented by Wexner Medical Center (bluewaterhealthyliving.com) — Worthington Kilbourne field hockey standout Kaelyn Perry has been voted the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center Girls Athlete of the Week after scoring four goals and recording four steals in two recent games. She dominated the fan voting with 85.9% support, edging out top competitors from Olentangy Orange and other central Ohio schools.
