Baldwin Named Executive Director of Senior Services for Jewish Federation (businessjournaldaily.com) — Youngstown residents connected to the Area Jewish Federation's senior services will see new leadership, as Shane Baldwin has been promoted to executive director. He'll oversee Heritage Manor, Levy Gardens, and Adult Day Services, bringing experience from several roles at Heritage Manor, which was recently ranked among Newsweek's top small nursing homes nationwide.
   

2. Mill Creek MetroParks Opens $3M Children's Garden (businessjournaldaily.com) — Families in Youngstown now have a major new outdoor destination, as Mill Creek MetroParks has opened the $3 million Anthony J. Fox Family Foundation Children's Garden at Fellows Riverside Gardens. The space features themed play and learning areas, water elements, pollinator plants, and a greenhouse, all designed to let kids explore nature hands-on during regular garden daylight hours.
   

3. MVMC Names Gibbs Program Manager for Workforce (businessjournaldaily.com) — Youngstown readers tied to manufacturing and job training may notice a new face leading key workforce programs, as Youngstown native James Gibbs has joined the Mahoning Valley Manufacturers Coalition as program manager for workforce. He'll oversee initiatives like WorkAdvance, apprenticeships, and upskilling, drawing on experience at the Mahoning Valley Sanitary District, local colleges, and Youngstown State University.
   

4. Youngstown-area driver killed in three-vehicle crash Friday afternoon (vindy.com) — A 43-year-old Youngstown man, Gregory Connors, died after his GMC van struck two stopped vehicles on eastbound I-80 in Hubbard Township late Friday afternoon. State troopers say he clipped a Subaru, then hit a semi-trailer in backed-up traffic before being taken to St. Elizabeth's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead; no other injuries were reported.
