Lucius Avenue in Youngstown, and city detectives along with the Mahoning County coroner are actively investigating. Police say there are no suspects yet and are asking anyone with information to call the Youngstown Police Detective Bureau or Crime Stoppers, where anonymous tips may qualify for a reward.

Howland business fire causes interior damage (tribtoday.com) — Fire crews in nearby Howland quickly contained a blaze at Big Daddy's Smoke Shop on Niles Cortland Road, limiting damage to the rear and interior of the business and leaving no one injured. Mutual aid units, including the Youngstown Air Reserve Station Fire Department, were placed in service but ultimately not needed as state investigators now work to determine the cause.

What your neighbors are talking about on social media
- Neighbors, at 5:00 this morning I took my dog out to potty and a pack of coyotes moved through the back yard of the brick duplex on the corner of S Raccoon Rd and Greenbriar at the red light.
I was across the street when I saw them, so I slowly backed away, pulling my dog so we could get back home. I watched as I was backing away, and didn… (Nextdoor Greenbriar) - This very friendly cat has been hanging on our porch for about the past few hours.
The cat is pretty thin and doesn't look very well taken care of but if this is anyone's baby, let me know (Nextdoor Garden District)
