Superintendent: Job's not done for city schools (vindy.com) — Youngstown City Schools just earned a three-star state report card rating, meeting Ohio standards for the first time in 25 years while still working to boost early literacy and middle school performance. District leaders highlighted big gains in closing achievement gaps and graduation rates, and they're pressing state officials to end Youngstown's lingering academic distress designation.
