• 14 Home Games Highlight 2026-27 Lady Hornets Basketball Schedule (esuhornets.com) — Emporia State’s women’s basketball team will visit Ada on Nov. 20 to face East Central University, bringing NCAA Division II action to local fans. • Indian Health Service Awards $3.5 Million for Tribal Food and Nutrition Initiatives (hhs.gov) — The Chickasaw Nation in Ada will receive up to $250,000 through a new Indian Health Service produce prescription grant, aimed at improving access to fruits, vegetables, and traditional foods. Part of a $3.5 million national initiative, the program will let local tribal health leaders design nutrition support tailored to community needs and chronic disease prevention.
