• DOE's Office of Critical Minerals and Energy Innovation announces $134 million to bolster rare earth element supply chains (ajot.com) — Ardmore is slated to host a new demonstration-scale facility that will turn industrial waste into high-purity rare earth metals, backed by U.S. Department of Energy funding. The Phoenix Tailings project, one of two nationwide, could position Ardmore in a growing clean-energy supply chain and bring specialized industrial activity to the area.

What do I do?': Mom delivers twins on highway during family trip (kcra.com) — A Texas mom unexpectedly delivered premature twins along Highway 377 and was first taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Ardmore before the babies were moved to Oklahoma Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. The infants are doing well but remain hospitalized while the family struggles to find lodging amid a busy softball championship and waits for insurance approval to return home.
