• U.S. Women's Sitting Clinches Paralympic Bid, Reaches Quarterfinals at 2026 Worlds (usavolleyball.org) — An Ardmore native, middle blocker Monique Matthews, helped the U.S. Women’s Sitting National Team clinch a spot in the 2028 Paralympics by sweeping Kenya at the 2026 World Championships in China. The team, now 4-0, advances to face Italy in the quarterfinals as they continue their push for another Paralympic gold.
