• Fiery crash closes eastbound Turner Turnpike lanes in Creek County (newson6.com) — A serious multi‑vehicle crash has shut down all eastbound lanes of the Turner Turnpike near mile marker 209 between Sapulpa and Kellyville, with one westbound lane also closed. Drivers are facing heavy delays, and the Turnpike Authority urges motorists to detour onto SH‑66 at Bristow around mile marker 197 while eastbound traffic is diverted at exit 203 until the scene is cleared. 
• Local youth attend statewide Leadership Summit (bristownews.com) — Two Bristow students recently spent part of their summer at the AFR Youth Leadership Summit, joining more than 300 Oklahoma teens for intensive leadership and life-skills training. They took part in goal‑setting, teamwork, and service projects that produced military care packages and thousands of meals for families in need, bringing those experiences and connections back to Bristow.
