• ODOT moves forward on EV charging plan (okenergytoday.com) — Oklahoma’s EV charging buildout now includes a planned Tesla fast-charging site at I-44 Exit 240, 77 W Cherokee St in Catoosa, listed among 11 statewide locations. ODOT has begun spending federal NEVI funds, signed most site contracts, and is seeking more proposals through late August, which could further expand charging access for Catoosa drivers and travelers along the turnpike. 
• Tulsa to Memphis by river? New cruise already seeing strong demand (newson6.com) — A new nine-day river cruise will launch from the Port of Catoosa this November, taking passengers down the Arkansas and Mississippi rivers to Memphis with stops in Oklahoma and Arkansas. Early sailings are already sold out, tickets start around $5,200 including food and excursions, and tourism boosters say having Tulsa and Catoosa on the departure map could draw more visitors to Green Country.
