• Chichasha breaks ground on water plant; files for another OWRB loan (southwestledger.news) — Chickasha has officially broken ground on a long-awaited, $84 million water treatment plant that will replace the aging facility serving the city and nearby Norge. Funded largely through Oklahoma Water Resources Board loans and a dedicated local sales tax, the Erwin Family Waterworks is slated for completion in 2028 and promises more reliable, higher-capacity drinking water for decades.
