• Guthrie Public Schools summer feeding program underway through June 25 (guthrienewspage.com) — Families in Guthrie can get free dine-in or grab-and-go meals for kids 18 and under now through June 25 at Guthrie Upper Elementary, Guthrie Junior High, and several mobile sites around town. Breakfast and lunch times vary by location, and children must be present to receive a meal, helping ensure local kids stay fed while school is out. 
• Twister Drive-In Theater In Guthrie Demolished After 70 Years (newstalk1290.com) — A longtime Guthrie landmark, the Beacon/Twister Drive-In theater, has been demolished after more than 70 years and will be replaced by a credit union, erasing a piece of local and Hollywood history. The story reflects on its role in the movie Twister and points readers to other drive-in theaters still operating around Oklahoma.
• WCJR Update: Barrel Racing and Pole Bending Standings (barrelracing.com) — The World Championship Junior Rodeo is set to return to Guthrie’s Lazy E Arena in July, bringing $145,000 in guaranteed added money. Current barrel racing and pole bending standings show who’s closest to qualifying, with leaderboard spots locking in after June 14.
