• ODOC deploys full-body scanners to strengthen fight against contraband (oklahoma.gov) — New full-body scanners are being installed at Dick Conner Correctional Center in Hominy, meaning everyone entering the prison will now pass through advanced contraband screening. The Oklahoma Department of Corrections says the low-dose radiation system can detect hidden drugs, phones, and other items, and includes AI to help staff spot threats. Hominy’s facility is one of five statewide receiving the new technology.
