• Linda Kay Redmond (purcellregister.com) — A longtime McLoud-area resident, Linda Kay Redmond, has passed away at 81, with funeral services set for Friday, October 2, in nearby Norman. Raised in California before building a life in Oklahoma, she was known for her love of animals, gardening, westerns, and deep faith. She leaves behind a large, close-knit family and many friends.
