- Critics of Oklahoma City's redistricting plan say that "blatant partisanship" is splitting the city's growing Hispanic community. Over the last decade, the state's Hispanic population grew more than 42 percent, primarily in OKC's southwest side. The proposed district map, which awaits Governor Kevin Stitt's signature, would move thousands of city residents who live in the largely-Hispanic and Democratic area from the politically competitive 5th Congressional District to the firmly Republican 3rd Congressional District. - The Oklahoma City Police want to help local residents avoid porch pirates this holiday season. Officials say the best defense is a doorbell camera placed right within eyesight, as a hidden camera will not deter thieves. If you have the option, police say, set up a package pickup somewhere like Amazon locker or your workplace. If you do have packages stolen, residents are encouraged to file a report with the police.
