Oklahoma state lawmaker looking to ban Kratom-derived compounds next session (okcfox.com) — From Oklahoma City, a state lawmaker is preparing a bill to ban certain Kratom-derived synthetic compounds by listing them as Schedule 1 drugs next session. He argues overdoses are rising despite existing limits, and says the goal is to protect Oklahomans—especially youth—while not outlawing the natural herb itself, setting up a debate that could affect products sold in local shops.
