• Sand Springs sophomore qualifies for state (keystonegusher.com) — A recent OSSAA Class 6A regional track meet in Owasso saw Sand Springs sophomore Cole Higgins qualify for state in both the 800 and 1600 meters with standout runner-up finishes. Several Sandites posted strong performances across sprints, distance, and field events, but Higgins’ poised double medal run suggests he could become a consistent state-level contender for the program.
