• Education Committee questions WELA costs after Daposka Ahnkodapi closure (osagenews.org) — Osage Nation lawmakers are scrutinizing the high per-student cost, staffing levels, and underused capacity at the Wahzhazhe Early Learning Academy in Pawhuska, which now serves 73 children in a building licensed for 120. With questions swirling after the closure of Daposka Ahnkodapi, Pawhuska families could see changes in class sizes, waitlists, and use of the former Daposka buildings as the 2027 budget moves forward.
