Ponca City Police arrest two who they say beat a man to death (fox23.com) — Ponca City police say two suspects were arrested after a man was fatally beaten early Sunday on South 10th Street, following reports of someone lying in the road. Officers and a tactical team removed an adult and child from a nearby residence before taking the suspects into custody. Investigators are still gathering information and asking anyone with details to contact Ponca City police.

Bruner, a Ponca City High School graduate who became a pioneering pediatric dentist in Michigan, is remembered for his integrity, devotion to family, and decades of service improving children’s dental health.
   

4. John Lewis 'J.L.' Brandon (poncacitynews.com) — Family and friends in Ponca City are remembering John Lewis “J.L.” Brandon, a 1960 Ponca City High School graduate and longtime OSU fan, whose graveside service is today in Newkirk. The obituary highlights his love of golf, travel between Oklahoma and Texas, deep devotion to his wife Gale, and the many children, grandchildren, and great‑grandchildren he leaves behind.
