- The Tulsa Fire Department has been awarded a $12 million grant. According to Fire Chief Michael Baker, the funding comes at a perfect time because the department is short dozens of firefighters after a number of retirements. The department hopes to hire 60 firefighters to fill these vacancies. (News On 6)
- Restaurants in the Tulsa area are offering specialty menus for this year's Restaurant Week. All prix fixe menus served during this week come with an automatic donation to Food for Kids at the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. The event is currently running until Sunday, September 19. (KOKI FOX 23)
- Tulsa Police have arrested a fraud suspect wanted in multiple counties on multiple charges. (2 News Oklahoma)
- Tulsa Area United Way, a nonprofit organization that provides necessary services to tens of thousands of people, raises $100,000 in donations to kick off their fundraising campaign. (KTUL)
- A local Tulsa pup has been named as a top 10 finalist in People Magazine's "World's Cutest Rescue Dog" contest. (News 9)
