• Grove woman gets 5-year deferred sentence over drugs (fourstateshomepage.com) — In Vinita's Craig County District Court, a Grove woman received a five-year deferred sentence after prosecutors reduced an aggravated fentanyl trafficking charge to possession with intent to distribute. She must serve 90 days in the Craig County jail, with credit for time served, after officers found fentanyl during a traffic stop. 
• Couple Sentenced to Prison for Beating Roommate to Death (internewscast.com) — A Vinita couple has been sentenced to 25 years in prison each for the brutal 2025 beating death of their roommate in a Vinita home. Investigators detailed extensive injuries and a pattern of abuse before the pair pleaded guilty to second-degree murder last week, closing a disturbing case that has weighed on the local community.
