Herrmann Named Kristi Rozell Memorial Scholar at SWOSU (kecofm.com) — A Weatherford student is being recognized for her dedication to special education: SWOSU has named Jasmyn Herrmann of Weatherford the Kristi Rozell Memorial Scholar for the 2025–2026 academic year. The long-running scholarship, created in memory of Kristi Rozell, supports future educators through the SWOSU Foundation. 
2. SWOSU Awards Dr. Donald I. Hamm Memorial Scholarship (kecofm.com) — A Weatherford student is being recognized close to home: SWOSU has awarded the Dr. Donald I. Hamm Memorial Scholarship for 2025–26 to chemistry major Ty Elliott of Weatherford. The memorial scholarship honors the late emeritus chemistry professor and is managed by the SWOSU Foundation, which supports scholarships and programs at the university.
3. SWOSU Names Charles & Mary Abercrombie Scholar (kecofm.com) — From right here in Weatherford, SWOSU is highlighting another major scholarship opportunity: pharmacy student Eli Goodman has been named the Charles & Mary Abercrombie Scholar for 2025–2026. The SWOSU Foundation–managed award supports pharmacy students from western Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle.
4. An On-Air Wedding at 95.5 The Coyote in Weatherford (kfor.com) — Listeners in Weatherford woke up to a live on-air wedding at KWEY-FM’s 95.5 The Coyote, where staff turned the studio into a flower-filled venue. Local couple Andrew Mohlzon and Thomasa Stegall tied the knot during the morning show, and residents can rewatch the ceremony on the station’s Facebook page.
