ā¢ SWOSU Rural Health Center Receives Microgrant to Support Rural Health Access (kecofm.com) ā Weatherfordās SWOSU Rural Health Center has landed nearly $200,000 to launch a mobile health resource van and community kits serving nearby Roger Mills and Washita counties. Based out of SWOSUās Weatherford campus, the project will bring screenings, health education, and essential equipment closer to rural residents starting in 2027, while also creating hands-on learning opportunities for SWOSU health students.

ā¢ SWOSU Men's Golf Earns GCAA President's Special Recognition (swosuathletics.com) ā SWOSU, based in Weatherford, is celebrating its menās golf team for earning the GCAAās President's Special Recognition after posting a 3.62 team GPA in 2025ā26. The Bulldogs were among just 26 Division II programs to clear the 3.5 mark, and golfer Ryan Carlisle also picked up All-America Scholar honors. Ā Ā Ā
